This morning we were joined by Prof Mingzhong Li, Professor of Crystallisation Science & Drug Delivery at Leicester School of Pharmacy at De Montfort University. Professor Li gave an impressive presentation on the co-crystallisation technology his lab has been developing to improve the bio availability of chemical compounds being pursued as chemo-therapeutics. Discussions focused on how this technology can be utilised in conjunction with the anthelmintic compounds currently under development here at Aberystwyth University.
