This September, BCHC members Prof. Karl Hoffmann and Dr. Jo Forde-Thomas attended The Hydra Helminth Conference in Greece. This Conference focuses on Helminths and helps to drive forward this fast-moving field of parasitology. The keynote speaker this year was Prof. Alex Loukas from James Cook University, Australia.

Dr. Jo Forde-Thomas presented her poster on ‘Development of an automated assay to assess the motility of adult Schistosoma mansoni and the identification of novel anti-schistosomal starting points within the Merck KGaA’s mini library’
This years conference was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and we look forward to the event next year!
