The Global Health Innovative Technology (GHIT) Fund have invested in an exciting new project led by Aberystwyth University with collaborators at University of Dundee and BrightCore, Inc. in Japan.
GHIT is international organisation that helps support the development of drugs, vaccines and diagnostics for malaria, tuberculosis and NTDs.
The project entitled AI-guided approaches for schistosomiasis drug discovery offers the chance to work with new technology that could potentially lead to advances in the treatment of this neglected tropical disease (NTD).
BCHC scientists are delighted to have secured this research opportunity and look forward to working with our project collaborators.
