It’s graduation season in Aberystwyth and we are delighted to be able to congratulate all of our undergraduate students who graduated last week.
In particular, congratulations to Will Aston and Sarah Davey who both graduate with first class Bachelor of Science degrees in Veterinary Biosciences. BCHC members Dr Iain Chalmers and Dr Russ Morphew co-supervised Will’s undergraduate dissertation while Sarah’s was supervised solely by Dr Russ Morphew.
We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Sarah, who won the “‘IBERS Director Prize’ – Overall Winner for the Best IBERS Undergraduate Dissertation” for her work with Dr Russ Morphew entitled “Eggsploring the options: Comparing faecal egg count diagnostics in captive exotic animals.”
Both Will and Sarah will be returning to Aberystwyth University after the summer break to undertake our MRes course in Parasite Control, a hands on 1-year course specifically focusing on parasites and the diseases that they cause.
Congratulations Will and Sarah, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
