Professor Karl Hoffmann of IBERS, Aberystwyth University was the Keynote speaker at the 2016 Annual Symposium of the Lifesciences Research Network Wales held in Cardiff. He provided an insight into his expert area, Schistosomiasis.
In its third year, the LSRNW Network has supported a range of activities including PhD students, individual research projects and platform technologies at universities across Wales. The Scientific Drug Discovery Congress was an opportunity for students and leading academics from across Wales to highlight their research and discuss the challenges faced in developing the next generation of therapeutics.
